Having spent the majority of his professional life in the corporate world, James never expected to be known as ’Talent’. Yet with over 280,000 followers and more than 50,000,000 fan interactions on Chinese social media, this has now become another part of James’ professional life.
James’ engagement in Chinese social media live-streaming and short video marketing has broken records in China and won marketing awards in China including the ‘Best innovative campaign’ award from Mafengwo and ‘Best destination marketing’ award from Pinchain. In July 2023, James was also selected by a panel of judges at The People’s Daily’s inaugural influencer conference to represent Australia at the global ‘汉子缘’ competition in Beijing; with his trip supplied by Hainan Airlines.
